The origin of the design
From palm
to leather
Los Canastos was born from observing the most honest form of Oaxacan weaving. Pompi García translated the geometry of palm baskets into a leather object that keeps that same constructive logic — visible structure, exposed seams, materials that speak for themselves.
The leather keeps its natural identity. The small marks or tonal variations are not imperfections, but the authentic trace of an organic material. Every irregularity certifies that your piece is unique, honest, and made to tell its own story.
